As a graphic designer at Fastsigns D.C., it was crucial for me to communicate and carry out designs swiftly and accurately.

Working between project managers and production staff, a typical day included several high intensity, yet simple projects in addition to more detailed and intensive large scale designs. Our ultimate goal was to make clients happy – whether that involved advising fully on designs or creating to their requests. The shop primarily created public signage materials including coroplast and aluminum, as well as other media including posters, banners, and print materials.

I also worked on several projects within the guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities Act; these signs required exact measurements, type 2 braille and emphasized legibility for the user. One of the larger projects we did required a full documentation proof of concept describing over 200 signs within the span of three months – a task which I spearheaded and assisted production in carrying out.
